Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Scott Bray and Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Ronald Moultrie testified publicly before the House Intelligence Committee, presenting additional video evidence, discussing the mission of the newly created Pentagon UAP Task Force Creation successor office, and acknowledging several hundred then-unresolved case reports.
Assessment
The hearing was widely reported as historic in giving UAP a formal, open platform in Congress after decades in which the subject was largely relegated to closed briefings, and it is credited with helping build momentum toward the creation of AARO Establishment later that year.
