The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), through its National Nuclear Security Administration, runs the U.S. nuclear weapons complex, including Los Alamos and Sandia laboratories and the Pantex Plant. It inherited the records of the Manhattan Project and the Atomic Energy Commission.[1]
UAP-related records
PURSUE releases from DOE include the transcript of the 1949 Los Alamos conference on “green fireballs,” 1970s UFO correspondence of physicist James Tuck, a 1986 talk invitation, and a 2015 report on an unidentified object over the Pantex Plant with enhanced radar imagery.[2]
