| Type | Mass sighting |
| Status | Unexplained |
Dozens of children at a rural primary school independently and consistently described observing a landed craft and humanoid beings with large, dark eyes in a field adjacent to their playground during a morning recess period, an account first investigated on-site by researcher John Mack shortly afterward.
Assessment
The consistency of separately interviewed young children’s accounts — considered a difficult phenomenon to fake collectively at that age — has made this one of the most cited mass-witness cases internationally; no conventional aircraft, animal, or hoax explanation has gained wide acceptance, and the case remains formally unexplained.
