| Key witness | Nicholas Mariana, Great Falls Electrics baseball team manager |
| Status | Unexplained |
Nicholas Mariana filmed roughly 16 seconds of two bright, circular objects moving across the sky above a baseball stadium, one of the earliest amateur UFO films to receive formal government and independent analysis.
Assessment
The Air Force’s Project Blue Book suggested the objects were reflections of sunlight off two F-94 jets known to be in the area, an explanation Mariana disputed given the objects’ apparent lack of any visible aircraft structure; independent film analysts have reached mixed conclusions, and the case remains formally unresolved.
