Young farmer Antonio Villas-Boas reported being taken aboard a landed egg-shaped craft, physically examined, and subjected to what he described as a sexual encounter with a humanoid female occupant, one of the earliest and most detailed such accounts to be recorded and investigated.
Assessment
Villas-Boas gave his account first to a family doctor seeking treatment for burn-like marks and radiation-sickness-like symptoms, well before the case attracted UFO researchers’ attention, a detail proponents cite as bolstering credibility; skeptics have noted the account’s sexual content aligns closely with folkloric and cultural narrative patterns of the period. The case remains formally unexplained.
