Chris Bledsoe is an American businessman whose January 2007 encounter with an unidentified object near his home in North Carolina, and his subsequently reported health effects and personal transformation, have made him one of the most extensively studied individual witnesses of the 2000s, examined by researchers including Kit Green and Garry Nolan.
Assessment
Bledsoe’s case has drawn unusually sustained multi-disciplinary attention, combining witness testimony with medical examination, though as with most individual encounter cases, the underlying cause of both the sighting and any associated health effects remains scientifically unconfirmed.
